International Trilingual Institution

Through a personalized and trilingual approach to education (Arabic-French-English), the students at our institution thrive: they learn, discover their strengths and passions, and enhance their abilities. We support each child in developing their unique talents.

Studies on the relationship between language development, perception, and control have shown that multilingual individuals possess highly advanced cognitive skills.

Child Trilingualism: A Winning Bet

Studies on the relationship between language development, perception, and control have shown that multilingual individuals possess highly advanced cognitive skills.

At Groupe Scolaire Pierre Corneille, the integration of three languages (Arabic, English, and French) begins as early as preschool.

The positive impact of trilingualism on your child’s intellectual development can be observed on five levels:

1) Enhanced Linguistic Development

Everyone has heard the phrase, “A child’s brain is like a sponge”… Indeed, immersing a child in a trilingual environment starting as early as preschool enables them to master these languages more quickly and easily than if they were to learn them later in life.

Children possess an innate ability to replicate every sound without a specific accent, a skill that gradually diminishes as they grow older.

2) Cognitive Advantages

Learning languages is a cognitive activity that provides children with several benefits:

  • Enhanced skills for multitasking and problem-solving
  • Improved critical thinking abilities
  • Greater creativity
  • Stronger memory performance
  • More advanced reading and writing capabilities

Cognitive research links trilingualism to greater mental flexibility, more creative thinking, improved metalinguistic awareness, and heightened communicative sensitivity.

3) Better Academic Results

As previously mentioned, it has been proven that trilingual children develop abilities and skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and mental flexibility, enabling them to achieve better results in learning.

Moreover, students who later wish to learn additional languages will find the task easier.

Differences in sounds, accents, word order, inflection, intonation, and grammatical structures will be easier to master.

For languages etymologically similar to English and French, a shared vocabulary will further facilitate rapid language acquisition.

4) Cultural Enrichment

Every parent hopes their children will grow through their knowledge and personality.

Learning three different languages opens minds to other cultures. Trilingual individuals gain access to fascinating knowledge, people, and places throughout their lives. Additionally, this will be a significant asset in the job market, both within our country and abroad.

All these factors enrich life and offer new experiences to those who can freely use three languages.

Mastering foreign languages allows children to feel comfortable in foreign environments, fosters natural flexibility and easy adaptation, and also enhances self-esteem.

5) More Responsible Citizens

Every parent can envision their child making a significant contribution to social development. We hold great hopes and wonderful dreams for their future—not only to have a reason to be proud but also to improve the society in which we live.

Multilingual children often possess stronger analytical, social, and scientific skills, enabling them to play a more impactful role in shaping a better world.

Other Advantages of Trilingualism:

  • Being a better communicator.
  • Having better concentration skills.
  • Developing stronger analytical, social, and scientific skills.
  • Having better listening skills and a sharper memory.
  • Improving problem-solving abilities and gaining multiple perspectives on various topics.
